Vocabulary Strategy: Antonyms When encountering an unknown word, use context clues to find the word’s meaning Words/Phrases like unlike, but, in contrast to, and on the other hand show that the context clues are mostly like antonyms Antonyms are words that mean the opposite of another word sad  happy
