BUDGETING FOR HOLIDAYS The holidays can be a lot of fun and they can be very stressful. It is the season of giving, which often means it is also the season of spending. One of the best things you can do to help make the holidays a lot less stressful is to create and stick to a holiday budge.

WORKSHOP OUTLINE 7:30am-8:00am Registration of participants Breakfast 8:45am-9:00am Ice breaker To get to know the participants and facilitators. 9:00am-9:50 Presentation of the power point 9:50am-10:00am Break 10:00am-10:30 Group activity Participants to participate in shopping online for Christmas gifts

Participants would register as they come, breakfast is served and then introduction of the topic, expectations, rules and icebreaker would follow. PowerPoint presentation would be presented and there after a group activity where participants are aske to got shopping(online) as they usually do. The exercise would be followed by a discussion where they highlight mistakes they have been doing and how to correct that using technics and tools given during the presentation. A final exercise, done individually, participants use a sample given to budget for Christmas gifts. Participants give feedback and the facilitator concludes the workshop Scenario
