Teacher Directions Lead your class through the PowerPoint The questions (Except for #5) for the class discussion portion were taken from the teacher’s guide that was placed in your mailbox. You can use this to help lead the discussion. The Pledge Cards will be placed in your mailbox by Tuesday, December 1st. Feel free to edit the PowerPoint if you would like.

Small Group Discussion Divide the class into five groups and assign them one of the following questions to discuss. What is the difference between bullying and teasing? Rough and Tumble Play? How can teasing turn into bullying? What are some things you could say if you are being teased? What are some things you could do if someone is bothering you? Why can AMS not allow students to “tease” or “play around” when it comes to bullying behaviors? Share answers as a class and discuss

Pledge Cards Pass out the Pledge Cards to students and review Ask students to sign and commit to following the pledge on the card Sometime between now and Friday morning during Roundup take your class into the hall and have the students tape the Pledge Card on the inside of their locker.
