An adjective describes a person place or thing. What is an adjective?? An adjective describes a person place or thing.

Adjectives can be…... Number (five) Opinion (pretty) Size (big, small) Age (young) Shape (round) Color (green) Origin (American) Material (rubbery, wooden) Purpose (walking, reading)

An adverb describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb. What is an adverb?? An adverb describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb.

Adverbs tell us…. How? (quickly) How often? (every day) When? (yesterday) Where? ( Here)
