The Plow with a hand plow a man could complete a trench around 30 yards long in a day with a horse or ox the same 30 yard trench could be created in fifteen minutes the plow coulter- like a large knife that cut a lit in the earth ploughshare- a curved blade that cut under a section of soil and forced it up and out mould board- a wooden board on top of the share that forced the disrupted earth to one side, making it fall over
