How are the two texts similar? At first, I want you to reread the two texts “Flesh and Blood So Cheap” and “The Story of the Triangle Factory Fire” and think about the question: How are the two texts similar?” You can discuss this question in pairs or in groups. Who wants to share something? They talk about the same event. There are a lot of facts and details in the two texts. Both of them are informative essays.

What is an informative essay? An informative essay is an essay aimed at providing details and facts to educate your readers on a specific topic. So what is an informative essay?

What are the components of a successful informative essay? Here is another question: what the components of a successful essay? You can talk about this question in pairs or in groups.
