Kitchen Rules

1. Turn off stoves and ovens.

2. No snapping towels or messing around.

3. Clean up your own mess.

4. Put all equipment back where it belongs.

5. Store leftovers properly.

6. Sweep kitchen areas.

7. Wipe up spills.

8. Report breakage or accidents immediately.

9. Labs are to learn how to prepare new foods and sample, not meals to fill up on.

10. The teacher will control how foods are used in the labs.

11. Wash and wipe out sinks when finished.

12. Because you make it doesn’t mean it is yours, it is still school property.

13. Cooperation is mandatory.

14. Volunteering is a great career skill.

15. Self motivation is also!!

16. If no samples are given to the teacher, you receive no grade.

17. Cleanliness and manners are part of your grade.

18. Be conservative, not wasteful.

19. Hiding failed food in drawers is NOT cool!!

20. Disrespectfulness will not be tolerated.
