World Lit honors class agenda 2/23/15 ACT Prep: Semicolon (10 - 15 minutes) Proverb to Ponder (10 minutes) Lit Circles Group poster (35 - 40 minutes) Gallery Walk and Reflection (25 minutes) CLO: Today you will, in writing and orally, determine the meaning of words and phrases in a text and its effects on the reader through literature circles and creating anchor charts displaying the information and effects using descriptive phrases such as: “The effect of the (proverb, folk tale, literary device, cultural component, character, etc.) on the reader is…”
