Career Project Outline Name ________________________________ Hour _______ Career Project Outline Directions: After you have taken notes from two or more sources. Follow this format for your outline. To receive all of the points, make sure that you have gone to the depth needed for each idea. Outline Model: Education/training (select at least three) Time spent to train or to get formal education required Degree or certification required for career Where to go for training or education Stepping stone jobs and experiences recommended Continuing training needed for advancement Career/Job Description (select at least three) Hours/Shifts Typical Day at work Job conditions Personality Traits/Skills needed Dress Requirements/Special equipment needed Salary/Benefits (select at least two) Beginning Salary Ending Salary Job or career outlook for the future Positive and negative aspects of the career (select at least two) Most challenging thing about the career Most rewarding thing about the career Advice from the interview Outline Format I. a. b. 1. 2. c. II. This will continue on throughout the entire outline. For each numbered subdivision you will need at least two ideas as shown above. You might not have numbered subdivisions for each letter subdivision.
