Indirect Object Pronouns

Indirect Object Pronouns answers the questions “to whom?” tells who is the indirect receiver of the verb’s action

Ejemplos me Ejemplo: Él me habló español. (He spoke Spanish to me.) To whom did he speak? me

Ejemplos Te (you) Ejemplo: ¿Te dio un boleto? (He gave you a ticket?) To whom did he give the ticket? Te (you)

Indirect Object Pronoun ¡Importante! Indirect object pronouns ALWAYS go before the verb. Ejemplo: Él me da dinero. (He gives me money.) Indirect Object Pronoun verb

“le” and “les” Since “le” and “les” can refer to different people, they are often used with a prepositional phrase.
