Coaching Process Preconference {10 min} Lesson Review {15 min} Determine Goals Discuss background information Lesson Review {15 min} View a small portion of lesson Make notes for discussion Post Conference {20-30 min} Discuss & Reflect We will work through this process during our session today – this is the agenda!

II. Model Preconference- “I do” {8 min} Pre-conference (Provide guiding questions for teachers-PPT) Do you have some current goals you’re focused on? Which one goal would you like me to focus on while viewing your lesson today? Is there a particular part of the lesson you’d like me to focus on? Give me a little background about the students in this group. Is there anything else I should know before watching your lesson? III. Practice Preconference- “You do” {Partners} {5-8 min. each = 10-15 min} Pre-conference (Use questions on board to guide) Make note of teachers goals Note background info or other details
