Pinch Pot & Choice Project Pinch Pots – (demo today) can be used to create forms that are bowl-shaped or hollow (by joining to half-spheres together). Choice Project(s) – create something using the pinch pot method or other handbuilding method (coil/slab) – or combination of these methods Sketch your ideas today in your sketchbook Think about who might receive this gift (if you decide to make a gift for someone) you can personalize or add elements that relate to that person’s interests or likess Think about using your texture stamp! Have fun with it – you will have through Thanksgiving break to work on this choice project As always, craftsmanship is important. In addition, make sure the amount of work you have to show is equivalent to 5 studio days worth of work! Sculptural elements should be no more than thumb-width (1/2”) or there is risk during firing
