Presentation transcript:

As you prepare to talk about any SACRAMENT… Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Confirmation, Holy Orders, Matrimony, Anointing of the Sick Give it Context! Start at the Beginning….

When You Love Someone… How do you Show them??? Compare a sacrament to love. If you love someone, how can you show them that love? (words, hugs, flowers, candy, acts of kindness…) You do all of those things to show your love for someone, and God uses the sacraments to let us know that He loves us. When You Love Someone… How do you Show them???

God uses the Sacraments to do the same thing… To Express His Love to Us! Consider Baptism. In that sacrament you HEAR words, FEEL oil and water, and SEE white garments and candle light.

God uses the Sacraments to do the same thing… To Express His Love to Us! In Eucharist, you HEAR the words of the consecration and TASTE the bread and the wine.

God uses the Sacraments to do the same thing… To Express His Love to Us! So how about Reconciliation, what senses do we use for this sacrament. You HEAR the words of absolution….

As you prepare to talk about any SACRAMENT… Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Confirmation, Holy Orders, Matrimony, Anointing of the Sick I used PowerPoint, you can bring in actual objects to make it real for your audience! Bring it to Life!
