Formative Assessments: Closure ILT 10/6/2015

Metacognition Table On index cards or quarter sheets of paper, have students completed the following questions at the end of class: What did we do in class? Why did we do it? What did I learn today? How can I apply it? What questions do I have about it? PURPOSE: To assess and track student comprehension of daily objectives, goals and why its important. Results can impact warm up \ review for the next day

Write About A concrete tool for summarization in which students use key vocabulary terms (the language of the content area) to synthesize their understanding in a paragraph as well as represent key ideas graphically Designed for a single concept within a larger unit.
