Remittances IB HL

Financial Flows South Asia receives the most remittances. Mainly in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. In these countries the value of remittances is said to be greater than the amount of international aid that they receive. Africa and the Caribbean receive a small amount of remittances.

Value Of Remittances India and China received over $20 billion USD in 2005. The source of the Mexican money is the USA. Most remittances to the Philippines come from the UK. Some countries are very dependant on remittances such as Haiti.
