Warm-Up: Act 4 Review 1) Write a one-sentence summary of what happens in Act 4 (read in your Lit Circles yesterday). 2) Where does Act 4 begin? Examine the setting and the opening dialogue to figure this out. 3) What major event is left out of Act 4 in the text? Think hard about what logically has to occur between her “test” and the opening of Act 4.

The Ball Why is the ball left out of the text? Too much to act out in a theatre production To get rid of the romance The ball is NOT left out of the movie --- why?

Today’s Agenda Today we are going to watch the remainder of the movie. Your assignment: Summarize the plot of the remainder of the movie using a list format. Basically, make a bulleted list of every major/important event that occurs in the film. You will need this in order to compare/contrast the film ending to the text ending. Complete this on the back of your Venn diagram.

Summarizer Do you think it was appropriate that Eliza ends up with Henry Higgins? Explain.
