auspicious conducive to success; favorable It was the most auspicious moment to ask my mom for money.

deciduous of a tree, bush, etc. : having leaves that fall off every year In Michigan, we have many deciduous trees that lose leaves in the Fall.

evanescent soon passing out of sight, memory, or existence; quickly fading or disappearing A shimmering evanescent bubble floated by.

hubris pride or arrogance His Hubris attitude annoyed me.

Lexicon the vocabulary of a person, language, or branch of knowledge The size of the English Lexicon makes learning it difficult.

notarize have (a document) legalized by a notary. I had to take my diploma to a notary to have it notarized.

reparation the making of amends for a wrong one has done, by paying money to or otherwise helping those who have been wronged. Germany had to pay reparations after WWI.

soliloquy an act of speaking one's thoughts aloud when by oneself or regardless of any hearers, esp. by a character in a play. I had to learn the soliloquy for Romeo and Juliet.

suffragist a person in the past who worked to get voting rights for people who did not have them My grandma was a woman’s suffragist.

vehement showing strong feeling; forceful, passionate, or intense. She was vehement that Drake was the best singer around.
