Circle the 2-3 MAIN POINTS of your thesis statement. Box the FIRST THREE WORDS of each sentence. COUNT how many times you used “I” in your essay and write it down on your plan/separate sheet. *Star* FIVE STRONG WORD CHOICES/PHRASES and X THREE WEAK WORD CHOICES/PHRASES.
