Wind Projects—Future Potential Significant potential exists for setting wind projects on tribal land in Madhya Pradesh. GoMP to notify Policy for setting wind projects on tribal land for facilitating the developers (protecting tribal interest) THE STATE HAS DECIDED TO FORMULATE A POLICY TO MAKE LAND OF TRIBAL AREAS AVAILABLE ON MUTUAL CONSENT FOR WIND POWER PROJECTS. THE INVESTOR WILL HAVE TO PAY THE PREMIUM FOR THE LAND AND ALSO 20 DAYS NREGA WAGES EVERY MONTH TO THE OWNER THE TRIBAL WILL BE ALLOWED TO USE THE VACANT LAND THE INVESTOR WILL BE ALLOWED LAND FOR WTG AND FOR ROW

Largest Project for Repowering of Wind Park THE LARGEST PROJECT FOR REPOWERING OF A WIND FARM IS BEING TAKEN UP IN DEWAS, NEAR INDORE. THIS PROJECT WILL REPOWER A 13 MW WIND FARM TO MORE THAN 45 MW THE PROJECT IS EXPECTED TO BE OPEN FOR OFFERS IN THREE MONTHS
