Unit paper!! Now lets discuss your unit paper that is DUE FRIDAY!!! Expository Essay: After reading a myriad of memoirs, compose a well-developed expository essay that discusses how the authors used rhetorical modes to tell his/her stories effectively. Choose two memoirs of choice and then include "Shooting An Elephant.” Here is the rubric!

What s rhetorical modes? The act of capturing people, places, events, objects, and feelings in words so that a reader can visualize and respond to them.

So in other words… What details (in the stories you choose) make them memoirs? So remember what a memoir is It is a collection of memories that an individual writes about moments or events, both public or private that took place in the author's life.
