YOU WILL NEED: (gather these now) TRINITY TODAY! YOU WILL NEED: (gather these now) A Pencil or 2 (you never know!) sharpened, with eraser Watercolor paper (bring whole pad) Watercolor palette Paintbrush Water cup (you could share) Filled with water

“Art is not about drawing or painting “Art is not about drawing or painting. In fact, drawing is not about drawing. Drawing is about seeing.” –Ian Sands

Watercolors Watercolor paint is meant to be diluted with water. It is thin and transparent and runny. Use this to your advantage. Keep in mind that when some colors mix you get brown, watercolors WILL run into each other, let one color fully dry before putting another near it if you do not want them mixing. Pay attention to darks and lights, use white (or more water) to lighten things, black to darken shadows. Your picture should have value.

Today: We will finish our Trinity watercolors If you have finished already, please start another (from a photo) and try to work a little slower. The more time and effort you put into your work the more effective if will be. Try to bring out detail in your work with smaller brushstrokes.
