Practice Makes Perfect Delia is throwing a party. She had 3 gallons of punch. If each guests gets 2 cups, how many guests will be at her party?

48 3 gallons ____ cups. THINKIN OUT LOUD! 1 gallon = 4 quarts so 3 gallons x 4 quarts in a gallon = 12 quarts. 1 quart = 2 pints and 2 pints x 2 cups in a pint= 4 cups so 1quart = 4 cups.
