Starter On page 10 of your book answer the following questions. What step are you on (check the board)? Will you be cutting your sheet metal today? Are you comfortable with this assignment?

Symbol Pendants sawing Jewelry Symbol Pendants sawing

Agenda for today Review what we did last time. Finish your design if you have not already. Begin cutting your sheet metal. You should be ½ the way done with cutting by the end of class.

Last time We learned how to stamp and drill our sheet metal. Many of you got your designs done and began cutting your sheet metal. If you were not here last time or are behind you will need to come after school to get caught up.

What should you be doing? You should be cutting out your design from the paper and gluing it to the sheet metal. Once done you should begin sawing your sheet metal. If you are behind let me know what I can do to help.

Clean up… Make sure you are putting all supplies away where they belong. None of the supplies belong in your box. Make sure you throw away broken saw blades. Last time a students left supplies out, boxes out, sketch books out, and papers. If this happens again I will have to have us all spend a class period learning to clean properly than clean the entire class room. Please clean up and put things away where they belong every time.

Exit Questions How much did you get done today (did you saw half)? How many saw blades did you break today? Did you clean up after yourself (put supplies away, throw away saw blades)?
