Governing the People Vocabulary Words

Citizen: A person who lives and belongs to a community.

Community: A place where people live, work and play together.

Law: A rule that citizens must follow.

President: The leader of our country.

Government: A group of citizens that runs a community, state or a country.

Vote: A choice that gets counted.

Sarah and Hamza are good citizens. They live in the community of Maadi Sarah and Hamza are good citizens. They live in the community of Maadi. They follow the laws of their country Egypt.
