Welcome to Principles of Chemistry 2014 - 2015 Mrs. Wendt

What makes this class different? You will be taught chemistry basics and some lab skills, and given opportunities to practice them in labs and on assignments.

What can I do to be successful? Be prepared! Pay attention to lectures and materials. Do your homework! Every assignment. Use it as a chance to practice skills and learn where your weaknesses are.

Don’t just do it! Understand WHY you are doing it. Be an active participant! Listen. Ask questions. ENGAGE!

What should I know about this class? This course is based on basic chemistry skills. Homework is collected when the tardy bell rings. Look at the comments and corrections on labs and assignments.

Information will come to you in a variety of forms.

If you feel like you are lost, come get help as quickly as possible
