Club Accounts

Running the Club Each year, the club will hold an annual general meeting (AGM) All members will be invited to the meeting The meeting will elect the officers for the coming year. These officers are: A) The Chairperson B) The Secretary C) The Treasurer

The Officers Chairperson- The chairperson is in overall command of the running of the club. They take charge of the meetings and the make sure that everything is in order. They also make sure that the business of the club is carried out properly and will usually sign any cheques that have to do with the club.

The Officers The Secretary- The secretary is in charge of all administration and communication throughout the club. They will send out important dates of meetings, they will send out memos and the will keep records of all that was discussed at the AGM They will write letters when required.

The Officers The Treasurer- The treasurer is in charge of all the finances of the club. Some of their duties include: To collect the members subscriptions and give out receipts To make all payments on the club’s behalf To prepare all the accounts and balance sheets of the club
