Wholesale (Secondary) buy from manufacturers and producers in large quantities to sell to retailers (I.e.Costco’s) The middlemen of process.
Retail (Secondary) buys from wholesaler, sells to consumers malls, superstores, corner stores Where we get most of our goods.
Distribution (Secondary) transports goods between manufacturer, wholesaler and retail. Trucking companies, rail, air, etc….
Service (Teritiary) supports primary and secondary industries, as well as consumers by providing services (not goods) Dentists, doctors, cleaning services, etc….
Quaternary Typically known as your knowledge based industries. Schools, research institutions, think tanks, etc….
