Presentation transcript:

Bell Ringer: Tuesday, September 20 Please put your worksheet from yesterday (“Is Creating a Fake Online Profile a Criminal Act”)…don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be completed. In complete sentences…. First, write a short summary of what we read yesterday. Refer to the article on page 699 to help you remember. Then, comment on the piece. What do you think so far about Lori Drew’s actions? What’s your opinion on the morality of creating a fake online profile? Is it ever ok? If so, under what circumstances?

Sign up at my desk for pitch time slots. Remember, your 3 paragraphs have to be written by YOU (even if you have a partner) and turned in by Thursday at 9:45am on turnitin.com. No excuses for not getting on the site…if you have questions, you need to ask BEFORE Thursday. Paragraph=~5 sentences, includes 1. The type of appeal you’re explaining (1 for each paragraph: logos, ethos, and pathos) 2. The example of the appeal from your pitch 3. An explanation for the example you’re using (i.e. HOW does your example appeal to logos, ethos, or pathos)
