Q. 10 - Identify/Describe the 6 Sociological Research Methods Historical Method – studying events, processes, & institutions of past civilizations to help us understand social behavior today (good for studying trends) Content Analysis – analyze social life by interpreting words/images from documents, film, art, music, & other cultural products & media (easy & cheap) Survey Method – collects data on attitudes & opinions by asking a series of questions orally (interview) or written (questionnaire)
