Frankenstein “It takes two, baby” By: Kaitlyn Arthur and Shayde Seward

How are Women viewed in the novel? Elizabeth is able to take one look at Dr. Frankenstein and automatically have his approval on anything. Dr. Frankenstein would do anything for his “sweet Elizabeth.” He once stated that “my more than sister, since till death she was to be mine only.” Mother raised Frankenstein teaching him right from wrong, and showing him the ways of the world. Many would think that Frankenstein would resent his mother for being so strict and making sure he learned certain things, but Frankenstein appreciated his Mother teaching him these things very much. After Mother past away things changed dramatically for Frankenstein.

Character Development The characters are developing all throughout the novel. Elizabeth changes from a sweet young girl who was found with nothing and became adopted by Frankenstein’s parents then grew into a mature beautiful woman. Frankenstein changes a lot throughout the beginning of the novel, he loves his dearest Elizabeth, and his Mother Caroline so much that whenever his mother past away, it delayed him from going to college right off the back, and it gave him the thought to create the “Monster.”

Chapter 6 ”Justine has returned to us; and I assure you I love her tenderly. She is very clever and gentle, and extremely pretty; as I mentioned before, her mein and her expressions continually remind me of my dear aunt” Even when women are gone for many years, when they come back they’re still seen as the amazing woman they were whenever they left. Women are seen as a very brilliant people. They’re seen as people children want to grow up to be.

Chapter 7 “Time had altered her since I last beheld her; it had endowed her with loveliness surpassing the beauty of her childish years” Beauty is always seen in women, even whenever they’re doing wrong, no matter what women are always seen as better than men. If a man was able to do the same as women could do they may face serious consequences, and no questions would be asked.

Artistic Connection to the Novel The Walking Dead is a main artistic connection in the novel. Women in the Walking Dead are expected to “hold their” ground and be able to support themselves whenever they’re in trouble and need help. A lot like the women in the novel.
