IMMIGRATION EXPERIENCE LETTER OBJECTIVE: Describe the experience of immigrants moving to the U.S. and adjusting to their new life. DIRECTIONS: Write a letter as if you were an immigrant who migrated to the United States in the late 1800s. Refer to your lecture notes, and text book (P. 256-259 & 262-265) to write a letter to a family member describing the experience and difficulties faced upon arriving and living in the U.S. Be sure to include each of the topics listed below in your letter.
