Case Study: Important Supreme Court Cases In your groups, create a presentation answering the following questions about your case: (YES, YOU WILL PRESENT) a description of the facts What happened in this case? Who are the parties? What facts are important? What year did this case take place? Where did this case occur? a statement of the issue or problem posed by the case What is the problem of the case? a reference to the arguments or various positions that can be taken on the issue What are the arguments for and against the issue?  a decision or a result on the issue presented What did the Supreme Court decide? What’s the reasoning behind the decision? What is the impact of the case? How does the decision affect society?

Presentations Audience members: For each case, develop TWO open-ended questions about the case.
