6th Grade Integrated Science Mrs. Genette Farnsworth Room 213 genette.farnsworth@hazelparkschools.org Website: gfarnsworth.weebly.com   SUPPLY WISH LIST… Two 70-page spiral notebooks Many, many glue sticks/bottles Pencils, colored pencils, highlighter Scissors and pencil sharpener Hand sanitizer & kleenex   GRADING POLICY HPJH grading scale using a point system HOMEWORK only if student didn’t finish in class LATE WORK accepted for a 30% reduced grade, but only until FRIDAY of that week. ABSENT/MAKE-UP work is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. Look at weekly agenda, then get work from the “While You Were Out” bin, and any notes from a classmate. Labs generally can’t be made up, so see me for an excused grade or alternative. An alternative assignment will be given in place of another 0% for your unsafe choice. ***2 detentions will be given for any names left for poor behavior from a substitute teacher’s visit. *Horse play during a lab activity will result in removal from the lab and a 0% for the activity.   Additionally, student will not be permitted to do the next lab and an alternative assignment will be given, or a 0% for th CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS: based on RESPECT , CONSIDERATION ALWAYS follow LAB SAFETY! Be RESPECTFUL of others & their property (Hands to yourself) No name calling or offensive language Be on time, in your seat, prepared with supplies & Interactive Notebook (INB) by the bell Be RESPONSIBLE for your own learning
