We exist…. To co-ordinate shared knowledge and standards To be a voice for the industry and take action on behalf of the industry To advocate and lobby policymakers “To promote the interest of our members as medical schemes with a view to an efficient access of our subscribing members to health care benefits”

Strategic goals -2005-2008 To be an effective body serving the interests of members To achieve sustainable membership growth To become the point of reference of all matters impacting on private health care To launch viable low cost packages To be financially sustainable
