Introduction In this section I will be looking at a different type of sport of the roles and Responsibilities within a individual sport.

Officials in Sprinting Someone to shoot the gun in the air too start the race. Tells you what place you came in the race. A timekeeper.

Roles of the Officials in Sprinting The officials roles are to judge the race to make sure that the contestants are in the right lane and that they stay in their lane throughout the race. Time is recorder and what place they came in the race.

Responsibility of the Official in Sprinting The Responsibility of the official is to Observe that the people in the race have the correct clothing and shoes on (spikes) and for any hazards. Making sure that no one is cheating for example their fingers have to be, be hide the line and no false starts and that the race is fair.

Section A By Nina Fosu Rules & Regulation

  Introduction In this section I will be looking at the rules and regulation also in a individual sport. Positions and play zones         GS -         1 & 2     GA -         1, 2, & 3        WA -         2 & 3     C -            2, 3 & 4     WD -         3 & 4     GD -         3, 4 & 5     GK -         4 & 5

Consists must have their fingers be hide the line. Basic Rules At the start, the starter will say take your marks which is when you get your feet in the blocks and get down into your position. They then say set which is when you rise slightly into position ready to move and listen for the gun to be fired in the air and you'll be disqualified for two false starts. Consists must have their fingers be hide the line. All runners must remain in their lanes If one of the runners go into someone else's lane this my be very dangerous and may cause injuries also this may effect them by not allowing the other runners to finishes the race and win. Runners may not obstruct other runners paths with any parts of their bodies.

Regulations Some of the regulation in sprinting are: The type of clothing and types shoes you have to wear, the important thing is foot wear most sprinter wear spikes. Spikes are lightweight and have spikes on the bottom, which help you to run on your toes, If you don't wear spikes it would be harder to run and also to run on your toes which would make you flat footed when you run. The size of the track so that runners have a equal amount of spaces and be able to run in a straight line. Starting position making sure everyone has their hands and feet be hide the line.

strong legs for power and give you maximum momentum. Scoring System Have a good reaction at the start of the race so you will have a better chance of wining. strong legs for power and give you maximum momentum. Also use your arms to give you more power this is to make you go more further and use your muscles more. Time is kept with automatic scoring clocks. runners finish the race only after he/she crosses the finish line also sprinters often lean forward at the finish of the race and the first person to cross the line and has a good time wins.
