Enhanced Hydrocarbon Fingerprinting TCEQ Trade Fair May 2018 Good morning and good afternoon. Thank you for joining me today. After 13 years with only draft guidance from U.S. EPA we now have finalized guidance that was published last June. Whether you work in a state with established guidance, emerging guidance or nothing at all, it is time to get up to speed on the direction the EPA has taken and how that may influence the work that you do. This webinar is part one of two on the topic of Vapor Intrusion. This half will focus on the sample collection part of the assessment where part two will focus on the analytical portion. New to this topic will be comment from and references to EPA’s final guidance. Let’s start with a brief overview of the science and regulation behind vapor intrusion assessments and then we will dive into the details regarding sampling and equipment. My goal is to provide a level of information that can serve as an introduction or review of the basics as well as a reminder of the critical elements that can impact the sampling portion of a vapor intrusion assessment.
