Defenition Verb Intransitive Verb To spend in a wasteful amount. To be very showy or ostentatious. Noun An excessively showy effort, display, or expenditure.

Example Verb You should let yourself splurge once in a while. They splurge on a trip to Europe. He splurged thousands on the party. She like to splurge about her new dress all day. Noun Buying a new desk is such a splurge. Do you thing it is a splurge to buy tickets to a concert?
