Leading Population Regions 4-Square Directions: Fold your paper into 4 squares/rectangles. Label each square one of the four leading population regions (Text pages 40-43). Use the information on these pages and Appendix B to respond to the following prompts. Rank this region in terms of population density compared to the other 3 and give the 2006 population estimate. Where are the centers of population in the region? What factor have influenced the population distribution in this region? Draw each region or leading population center.
