Igneuos Rock Igneous rock is group of rocks that is formed when melted rock cools and hardens. They are often glossy ,or shiny . Basalt ,granite, obsidian are types of igneous rocks

Metamorphic Rocks Metamorphic rock is a rock that is igneous, sedimentary ,and other rock that is changed by heat and pressure deep within the earth. May have bands or layers. Marble ,gneiss and quartzite are metamorphic rocks. ck

Sedimentary Rock Sedimentary rock is a rock that weathered many pieces of rock and soil which then settles into layers. The layers are squeezed together until they harden into rock.

Sedimentary rock It’s formed where oceans ,lakes or other bodies of water exist or existed. Limestone ,sandstone and conglomerate are kinds of sedimentary rocks.
