How to sign up for the Case Western Reserve University Electrochemical Society Student Chapter (CWRU ECS) 2018 01 20

There are 2 Steps Sign up through ECS & CWRU ECS a) Get ECS # (free for students – see rest of power point) b) Send ECS # to a CWRU ECS officer (Vice Chair) c) CWRU ECS adds you through ECS Sign up for orgsync a) Find organization here: https://orgsync.com/143841/chapter b) Request to join Yay! You’re an official member! However, do you get the emails? Sign up for the CWRU ECS email list: a) Go to: https://groups.google.com/a/case.edu/forum/#!forumsearch/ b) search for “CWRU ECS” and click on it c) Then click ‘apply for membership” d) Fill out form and click “Apply to join this group” Yay you will get the emails!

Go to www.electrochem.org Click on “Students”

This is the student page Click “Apply or renew today!” Do NOT click “Join Today”

Should be titled “Awarded Student Membership Application” Click “click here”

Fill out application Under professor: please use graduate research advisor or professor familiar with you, your work, and/or interests in the Electrochemical Society

Under membership options select “Cleveland Section” Click “Submit Membership Application” Please note: THERE SHOULD BE NO FEE AND NO CREDIT CARD INFORMATION SHOULD BE NEEDED. IF THERE IS, YOU ARE ON THE WRONG PAGE. Please check to see you are in the awarded student membership application.

Final Notes Applications can be completed as quickly as 3 days or can take until the professor submits the confirmation. If you have not received an email from ECS with an ECS number please follow up with your professor. Please send ECS# to CWRU ECS Student Chapter Officers (see website for contact info).
