Directions… Sit down next to your group members. Log in. Pull up the document that you started yesterday. Make sure that you have your THESIS PLUS Topic sentences 1-3 on your document. Pull up your image. Log on to www.gppoweroflanguage.weebly.com -> daily assignments -> October and read through the task list for today. Turn off your monitor.

Remember… Presentation – tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday Your paper is due by 11:59pm on Friday ALL group members should be pulling weight…if someone is not, I expect to hear from you. This is how the workplace works.

Task #1 Switch computers with the group/person I have assigned you to. Evaluate… Thesis Is it effective? Why? (Think: Does it have an x and a y? Does it evaluate the EFFECTIVENESS of the visual argument?) Three topic sentence Are they effective? Why? (Think: Does each topic sentence list an “x” and describe HOW that “x” contributes to the work as a whole?) If any of the 4 sentences is INEFFECTIVE, you MUST assist the group in coming up with a an effective statement. This is called team work 

Task #2 You must briefly describe the EVIDENCE and your ANALYSIS for each body paragraph. WHY??? You MUST be on the same page as your group members, otherwise your paper will be disjointed and ineffective. Task #3 You must email me (danielle.peck@gpschools.org) with…your word document AND your image (attach both please!) Task #4 Figure out how you will divide up the paper and how you will present on your given day!
