If you don’t have your response today, complete an “Oh no!” slip. Bellringer June 1 Get out your response for Kubrick and UNDERLINE where you say his theme. If you don’t state his theme in the first few sentences, insert his theme. If you don’t have your response today, complete an “Oh no!” slip.

Checking your response. Does your theme state what in society Kubrick is poking fun at? (Hint – it’s more than just the dangers of nuclear weapons. It includes the PEOPLE who have access to them. Does your response talk about the PEOPLE? Does it talk about any IRONY? Most importantly, does it connect the people and the irony to the theme?
