Do Now Based on the photos from yesterday, what do you think the problems of the Great Depression were?

Problems of the Great Depression Bank failures Banks didn’t secure their money or loans Too many people tried to withdrawal their money No money in bank Banks closed and people lost all $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Unemployment With no $$$$ people stopped buying goods Companies fired workers because didn’t need to produce as much Homelessness/home loss No job  no money  can’t pay bills Living in the streets Begging for food Bad farm land (Dust Bowl/drought) Over production of land (made too much during WWI) No rain + lots of wind = no growing of crops
