Vasco Da Gama was the first Person to sail through India. born 1460 or 1469, died December 1524. Vasco Da Gama was the first Person to sail through India. He was honored in Portugal as a national hero, and his story starts here…

He first set out in 1497 With three ships: The Sao Gabriel, The Sao Rafael, Berrio, And an unknown Cargo ship Which was lost later on.
