EL - English Learners Formerly ELL or ESL El Teachers Kate Turner and Angela Vela

EL Services The EL program provides EL students with instruction in the English language by emphasizing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. EL students are provided services in models that best fit the linguistic level of each student while not compromising the grade level content and rigor. Service is differentiated to best meet individual student needs in the most inclusive environment.

How you can help your child Look at their planner with them to see exactly what they have for homework. If your child has been given an Imagine Learning license, help them reach their 90 minute a week goal. If your child has been given a RAZ license, listen to them read the stories and watch them take the quizzes to see how they are doing. If your child is bringing home a book baggy, listen to them read the books. If your child has been given a google classroom invite by the EL Teacher then check it out.
