An exercise in Project Based Learning Organism Originators An exercise in Project Based Learning

You must work together as a team to create a product You must work together as a team to create a product. This product must demonstrate your understanding of at least one domain and one kingdom. You will be creating/imagining an organism that fits into one of the three domains and one of the six kingdoms. Your domain and kingdom will be chosen for you at random. Try and think something you’ve never seen before. Overview

Criteria Creative organism name. - 17% Is it heterotrophic or autotrophic? – 17% Is it multicellular or is it unicellular? – 17% Do its cells have Cell Walls? – 17% Can it move on its own? – 17% Product shows effort and creativity. 17% Criteria

Researcher – You need to gather all the information necessary to meet the criteria for your group. This includes looking up definitions!

Scribe – You are responsible for writing down all the pertinent information your Researcher finds.

Reporter – You are responsible for presenting your group’s product.

The product can be anything as long as it meets the criteria! Don’t ask me “Can we do a _______?” The answer is YES, as long as you meet the criteria and keep it appropriate. The Product
