Connecting the Dots Connecting Parents, Educators and Students with the Community for Powerful Transition

The coffee breaks are always the best part!!! Open Space Technology All the information we need is already in the room. “You are already doing a fabulous job already.” -Bob Farran The coffee breaks are always the best part!!!

How can we “connect the dots” in our district and school sites? Open Space Technology You are all cordially invited in participating in letting go, tapping into your passion and sharing your knowledge and ideas. Open Space puts people together to share their passions and create something new. “If you are open and willing to risk a little, you will gain much.” How can we “connect the dots” in our district and school sites?

Open Space Technology What questions are left unanswered? What do we want to do next? How are other schools supporting transition? How can we connect the dots? Ex. What can general education teachers do to support transition within their classrooms? Ex. How will standards and assessment drive special education and transition in the future?

Open Space Technology Participants will pose questions (6) to be addressed. The person that poses the question will become the facilitator and recorder of the discussion. Participants will select the questions/topics that are of interest to them. Participants will openly share ideas, propose solutions, or pose additional questions within the course of the discussion. Documentation of each discussion will be provided to all participants at the conclusion of day.

The Rules The Law of Two Feet- If you find yourself in a situation where you are neither learning or contributing, move somewhere were you can. When its over it is over! QUESTIONS??????
