CLIMATE: AN INTRODUCTION

CLIMATE is the average weather conditions in an area over a long period of time, year-after-year.

It is determined by looking mostly at the average temp. & precip It is determined by looking mostly at the average temp. & precip. but may also include winds and clouds.

There are many different types of climates around the world. What are some words you would use to describe the climate of a place? arid semiarid humid hot mild/temperate cold warm
