LANDFORM/URAL MOUNTAINS Location-Ural mountains location is between Europe and Asia Details-Ural are ancient mountain range located at the extreme eastern limit of Europe

Ratio & Proportions There is some habitable life in the Ural mountain for plants. The Ural mountains have two vegetation zone Word problem 1- what is the ratio of the Eastern part to the Southern part Southern part is 25% and Eastern part is 77% Word problem 2- what is the ratio of length to miles. The length is 2,500 and the miles is 1,600

FORMATION How was the Ural mountains formed? The Ural mountains was formed when the tectonic plates began to form the supercontinent of Pangaea When was the Ural mountains formed? About 300 million years ago.

Vocabulary Weathering- wear or change the appearance or texture of (something) by long exposure to the air. Erosion-the process of eroding or being eroded or being eroded by wind, water or other natural agents. Deposition – the action of deposing someone , especially a monarch. Catastrophe- an event causing great and often sudden damage or suffering a disaster.

Research/facts The mountains or simply the Urals, are a mountain range. The Ural mountains are about 1,500 miles long The Ural mountains are the richest in minerals in the world. They provide coal, iron, silver, gold, lead, salt and etc.. The Ural mountain stands at 6,214 feet.
