Bellringer: Dec. 5 Pick up the sonnet paper. Read it. See if you can figure out what the poet’s message is. Agenda: 1. Sonnet 2. “Song of the Indian Maid” excerpt 3. Essay assignment for Seize the Day – while some kids write, you can finish your quiz.

Essay Assignment! Rough draft is due Dec. 9 Final draft is due Dec. 15 You have already started this essay with the three responses we wrote about the text. Review what you said in those. Add to them based on the entire book. You MAY change your mind as you look to integrate the three different ideas.

Homework: Essay for Seize the Day – rough draft is due Dec. 9 You will turn in the novels on Dec. 15, when the final draft of the essay is due.
